(she/her) i'm a 28y dj, artist, and cat lover. i listen to music, cry about it, then play it for other people. some of my other interests are sewing, cooking, gardening, dancing, petting cats, reading, watching reality tv, and discovering new music.
i created this page cus i wanted a way to express myself without the limitations of modern social medias. i miss when the internet was messy and fun and everyone's homepage had a glitter cursor and auto-playing mp3s. now everything is "optimized for user experience" aka boring and full of ads. i got addicted when i discovered neocities through a random subreddit and i had to make my own tiny shrine to being online in the 21st century. anyways i love you so much for visiting!
i feel like society doesn't really understand grief or how to deal with it so this is something i hope to address in my blog. writing about grief is great for processing emotions and hopefully it will help other people feel less alone. people will try to avoid the topic because they think it's better if i can forget, but those who haven't experienced grief don't understand how front-of-mind the loss is for you ALL. THE. TIME. even years after it happens. anyways i wanna create a space or aura around me where people feel comfortable talking about the loved ones they've lost (or are losing - anticipatory grief is very real!!)
